Down to My Last Skin
Antjie Krog is one of South Africa's truly great poets. This is the first collection of her poems to appear in English. Most of the poems were translated from the original Afrikaans by the poet specifically for this volume. It includes poems from her previously published collections as well as several from her latest volume entitled Kleur Kom Nooit Alleeen Nie.

About the Author - Antjie Krog
Antjie Krog made her debut as an Afrikaans poet while still in high school. Since then, she has published 14 volumes of poetry, two of which are in English. She is best known for her account of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Country of my Skull, which was published in 1988 by Random House SA.
