eKhaya, Random House Struik's digital imprint, brings professionally produced books directly into digital format. It is South Africa's first ebook-only imprint, and was created to publish selected manuscripts written by students of the Random House Struik Creative Writing and Random House Struik Write a Non-Fiction Story courses. Both courses are presented entirely online in conjunction with GetSmarter, a high-touch online education company, and are taught by well-known author Mike Nicol.
Manuscripts submitted directly by the public are also considered. Click here for submission instructions.

 Joanne Macgregor
Born and bred in Johannesburg, Joanne Macgregor is a counselling psychologist in private practice. She started her professional life as a high school English teacher and has also been an IT trainer, a theatre dogsbody, and a “Big 4” business consultant (a personal low). She has always been in love with words and with nature. She is a pretty good cook, which is appreciated by her family and her seriously fat beagle.
